Together with Samsung Q1 UMPC, Asus also was one of the first to announce a product in this category. And although Samsung stole most of the buzz at Cebit, Asus R2H UMPC is more powerful device. The basic hardware specs are:
Processor: Intel Pentium M ULV (1GHz)
Chipset & Graphics: 915 GMS Internal GFX
Memory: 1 SODIMM Socket, SDIO capable SD/MMC card expansion slot
LCD: 7” WVGA (800 x 480)
Storage: 1.8” SFF HDD 20~60 GB
Communications: 10/100 Ethernet, WLAN (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth

In addition to faster processor Asus managed to cram a lot off additional goodies to into this small device. Asus R2H UMPC will come with built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, GPS module and fingerprint reader. We still have our reservations about the battery time of this device, but in addition to the portable media player features, this UMPC can double as a portable GPS device, giving another reason to for early adopters to get it.
